This tool is essential for setting the calibration on Ammco 8500 series drum micrometers.

It may also be used to verify the calibration of other models including the Ammco 8545 digital drum mic.

The 9582 is designed to mounted to a wall, work bench or other solid surface.  It can also be used in a vise if you do not want to permentantly mount it.
